Uses Bath and Washer Water for Irrigation
A simple and unique water recycling program is getting some serious looks from city officials.
Greywater irrigation, also known as "showers to flowers," allows homeowners to recycle their own bath, shower and washing machine water to irrigate their property.
The procedure does not use water from the kitchen or toilet, and the recycled water is not meant for consumption.
The equipment for greywater irrigation is installed in new homes only, and the cost is usually absorbed into the construction costs.
