Summary:The European Commission announced on December 16 that it has decided to take legal action against France, Belgium and Germany in connection with breaches of Article 30 of the Treaty on the free movement of goods. The infringements identified by the Commission concern the European market for car spare parts, pasta, disposable barbecues, enriched food and drink products, water-treatment products for swimming pools, labelling requirements for certain foodstuffs, parallel imports of pharmaceutical products and food supplements.
