As we look toward the next century, MBA curricula must prepare students to enter a professional work force that places a high value on communication skills (Bennett & Olney, 1986; Bond, Hildebrandt, & Miller, 1984; Curtis, Winsor, & Stephens, 1989; Margerison & Kakabadse, 1984).
