Great quantities of foreign acrylic fiber have flowed into China since last year, smashing the supply and demand balance in the domestic market and leading to a skyrocketing price and a building inventory. It is reported that China has planned to continue to import 320.000 tons of foreign acrylic fiber next year. Extremely shocked and dissatisfied, domestic acrylic fiber producers have appealed for a strict control on acrylic fiber import.
China has 12 major acrylic fiber producers including Fushun Acrylic Fiber & Chemical Plant, Qinhuangdao Acrylic Fiber Plant, Acrylic Fiber Plant of Qilu Petrochemical Corporation, Acrylic Fiber Plant of Shanghai Petrochemical ...
