Union Vows to Push Airlines to Enforce Law to Stop Violence on the Job
WASHINGTON, Jan. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- The Association of Flight Attendants today applauded the guilty verdict reached today in the trial of Dean Trammel who assaulted a flight attendant aboard a US Airways flight from Los Angeles to Baltimore.
"Attacks on flight attendants endanger the lives of everyone on board a flight and should not be tolerated," said Patricia Friend, International President of the Association of Flight Attendants. "While this is one isolated case where the system worked well, we want to make sure it works in every case."
