Jan. 19 -- Evening Post Publishing Co. of Charleston has entered into a letter of intent to purchase the assets of television station WLEX-TV, an NBC affiliate in Lexington, Ky., the 67th biggest television market in the country.
The sale, which is subject among other things to the execution of a definitive purchase agreement and final approval by the Federal Communications Commission, is expected to close midyear.
Terms of the sale were not disclosed.
