SIEMENS TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS will provide 11 new light rail vehicles to Calgary Transit (Alberta, Canada) as part of a $26 million contract between Siemens Canada and the City of Calgary. The order will supplement Calgary's existing fleet of 83 Siemens U-2 LRVs and will provide for proposed future LRT extensions.
