PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- SEPTA General Manager John K. Leary Jr. and BARTA Executive Director Dennis Louwerse (BARTA) today announced the start of a Major Investment Study/Draft Environmental Impact Statement (MIS/DEIS) for the proposed Schuylkill Valley Metro project and a series of community outreach programs to keep the public involved and informed throughout the process. The study area comprises the 62-mile Schuylkill River Corridor between Philadelphia and Reading, Pennsylvania.
