NORTHBROOK, Ill. -- Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL) has announced the requirement of a holographic UL Mark for power supplies (general purpose, electric data processing equipment and information technology equipment), AC adapters and seasonal use cord sets that are manufactured in China. This requirement goes into effect July 1, 1999.
