Only this time, the chip set from down south won. Not because Silicon Valley has the cultural vibrance of Baghdad by the Bay. That may never happen. But in a place where they make millionaires by the week, Silicon Valley's creating a community of people with money to spend on the arts. And San Francisco is coming to depend on it.
