MADISON, N.J., Feb. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Schering-Plough Corporation (NYSE: SGP) today announced that it has submitted a supplemental New Drug Application (sNDA) to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration seeking approval to market NASONEX(R) (mometasone furoate monohydrate) Nasal Spray for the treatment of nasal symptoms of seasonal allergic and perennial allergic rhinitis in children 3 years of age and older.
NASONEX once-daily nasal spray is currently marketed in the United States for these indications and for prophylaxis of seasonal allergic rhinitis in adults and children 12 years of age and older. NASONEX is the only nasal inhaled steroid indicated for the ...
