ST. LOUIS, Feb. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Unigraphics Solutions Inc. (NYSE: UGS) today announced its mechanical design software Solid Edge has been selected by Volvo Construction Equipment as its global computer aided design (CAD) solution. The agreement -- in excess of $1 million -- enables hundreds of Volvo Construction Equipment designers worldwide to design Volvo's award winning line of wheel loaders, excavators, articulated haulers and other road- building and road-maintenance machines.
