WE ALL KNOW OUR PARENTS AND GRANDPARENTS, ALONG WITH A FEW AUNTS AND UNCLES AND COUSINS. FAMILY HISTORIES ARE IMPORTANT TO WHO WE ARE AND HOW WE GOT FROM THERE TO HERE. SHOE PEOPLE ARE ALSO LINKED TO FOOTWEAR HISTORY.
For people in the shoe business, the industry is their "family," which has perhaps had as much influence as their real families in shaping their lives. So how come the vast majority of shoe people haven't the faintest idea about their footwear heritage.
