A drill program for one of the toughest "little things" in basketball
Basketball coaches love the kind of defensive players who are willing to stand in front of a hard-driving opponent and "take one for the team."
It is not the simplest or easiest thing in the world to do. That it demands courage is obvious. What isn't so obvious, is that it also demands intelligence - know-how.
You cannot be moving. You must know how to protect yourself. And you have to convince the official that it is the offensive player, not you, who is creating the contact.
