Cheddar Cheese prices received for US 40 pound Blocks averaged $1.44 per pound for the week ending January 30. The price per pound decreased 28.6 cents from the previous week. This is the lowest US 40 pound Block price since the week ending June 13, 1998. The price for US 500 pound Barrels averaged $1.36 per pound, a decrease of 23.3 cents per pound from the previous week. This is the sixth consecutive week that the prices of US 500 pound Barrels have decreased.
