A consultant called last week to complain that the questionnaire we ask companies to fill out for our directory of risk management consultants fails to define "risk management."
My knee-jerk reaction was that if a risk management consultant needs to ask what risk management is, he probably doesn't belong in the directory.
But I lashed my knee to a chair and heard the consultant out; I soon realized he had a point.
