No matter where I start in my checkered past, it is hard to explain how one gets here from there. The sum of the parts perhaps makes television editorial director a plausible destination, but it's a map only I can read.
Maybe it was the four years I spent working in a psychiatric hospital, living as much of a hippie life as could be lived in Milwaukee in the early '70s, that provides a clue.
