SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, Feb. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- The Board of Directors of Banco Santander Puerto Rico, the second largest financial institution on the island, today declared a cash dividend of $0.11 per common share. The dividend will be paid on April 1, 1999 to shareholders of record as of March 10, 1999. This is the first dividend declared by Banco Santander Puerto Rico since becoming a publicly held company last November.
It was also resolved that the Board will declare dividends on the Bank's common stock for the rest of 1999 based on the following schedule:
