Feb. 12 -- With Toyota's Princeton, Ind., truck plant beginning to go into commercial production, Dana Corp. will hire about 114 more workers through the end of this year at its frame plant in the MidAmerica Airpark.
Dana Corp. gradually is ramping up production in hopes of recovering the $20 million it has invested to make Toyota truck frames in Owensboro. But to date, it has hired only 66 of the 180 employees it will need in Owensboro.
Plant Controller Dennis Mann said the company plans to hire about 18 more workers later this month and will continue adding employees at a rate of about 25 every two months ...
