Microsoft announced the availability of Service Pack 4 for Windows NT Workstation 4.0 and Windows NT Server 4.0. Service Pack 4 provides a single source for all Windows NT updates, and feature enhancements including Year 2000 compliance, improved reliability and manageability, and font support for the Euro currency.
However, as with many recent Service Pack offerings, like SP 2 for Microsoft Office, the very complexity of Windows can defeat the purpose of the service pack. Some early adapters have reported problems, especially with the Y2K fixes.
