NEW YORK-In a move that will sent reverberations through the close-knit home furnishings market, HFN has learned that Burlington Industries will move its Burlington House showroom from its longtime midtown Manhattan location downtown.
The relocated showroom will occupy about 15,000 square feet at 295 Fifth Avenue, which touts itself as the largest home textile showroom building in New York.
The building, located between Thirtieth and Thirty-first Streets, is managed by Manhattan Properties Co. Claude Litton, president of Manhattan Properties, called the move a victory for his property. "To have a tenant as large and well known as Burlington move ...
