London -- The long awaited official launch of Eurosport's dedicated British service, called BritishEurosport, will take place on Monday March 1, 1999. The new service will tailor Eurosport's international output for a British audience, with on-screen British presenters and studio guests, dedicated British sports news and a new on-screen-graphic look.
The service will broadcast from BritishEurosport's purpose built state- of-the-art digital studio facility at NTL's Digital Media Centre, in Langley, west of London.
