TOKYO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 23, 1999--Eastman Kodak Company and Dainippon Ink & Chemicals, Inc. (DIC) announced today that portions of their graphic arts businesses are being combined to form Kodak Polychrome Graphics Japan Ltd., effective April 1, 1999.

This is a substantial addition to Kodak Polychrome Graphics, already the world's largest graphic arts consumables company, which was formed on January 1, 1998, as a 50:50 Joint Venture between Eastman Kodak Company and Sun Chemical Corporation, a wholly owned Subsidiary of DIC.
