LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 26, 1999--China Southern Airlines (NYSE:ZNH) (HKSE:1055), the largest airline in The People's Republic of China, and Delta Air Lines Friday said they were pleased with the U.S. Department of Transportation's approval of their request to offer codeshare service between Guangzhou, China, and multiple U.S. points, via Los Angeles.

China Southern Airlines was granted the service between Guangzhou and Atlanta; Boston; Chicago; Dallas/Fort Worth; Detroit; Honolulu; Las Vegas; Miami; Minneapolis/St. Paul; New York; Philadelphia; Portland, Ore.; San Francisco; Seattle; and Washington, D.C., under a codeshare agreement with Delta.
