MISSISSAUGA, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 1, 1999--DRAXIS Health Inc.(NASDAQ:DRAXF) (TSE:DAX.) DRAXIS Health Inc. today announced that the Canadian Health Protection Branch (HPB) has issued a Notice of Compliance (NOC) approving Alertec(TM) (modafinil) for the Canadian marketplace.
Alertec(TM) is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of excessive daytime sleepiness in patients with narcolepsy.
