This text covers women's health from the adolescent years through the senior citizen years. According to the authors, the book was written for both physical therapist students and practicing physical therapists. It flows well from adolescence through the childbearing years to middle age and beyond.
Chapter 1 is an introductory chapter that begins with a discussion of the importance of women's health. It also reviews the last 2 decades of health promotion and health education.
