Which is better for treating the pain of tonsillectomy: ibuprofen (Motrin, Advil, Nuprin, etc.) or acetaminophen with codeine? And is one safer than the other?
To answer these questions, doctors at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, CA, studied a number of factors in 27 children ages 6 to 12 years old who had a tonsillectomy.
