Requip(R) Shows Potential to Treat RLS with Mild Side Effects
PHILADELPHIA, March 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Requip(R) (ropinirole hydrochloride, SmithKline Beecham) was shown to relieve symptoms of Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS), according to an open-label study published this month in Movement Disorders. The study evaluated both the efficacy and adverse event profile of Requip in patients with both primary and secondary RLS.
