KANSAS CITY, Mo. _ What Mark Twain said in 1895 could describe modern-day America, where the public appears to have a growing infatuation with the idea of carrying hidden handguns.
In the last 12 years, the number of states allowing concealed weapons has more than tripled. When Missouri voters go to the polls next month, they will decide whether their state will follow the trend.
