Following its debut at Bauma '98, Caterpillar officially introduced the first models of its two new lines of compact construction equipment products to the North American market in the third quarter of last year.
To review, there are four families in Caterpillar's new compact construction equipment line designed for versatile application in light and general construction, rental, waste, water and sewer, demolition, landscaping and agriculture industries.
