Salvador Monroy is the newly appointed consul for the Mexican Consulate in Detroit.
How is the Mexican economy?
The economy has been running well until last year. It was in very bad shape, but it was improving until a few weeks ago. I think the economy will improve a lot, considering that we are receiving considerable new investments.
How will problems in Brazil affect Mexico?
Problems in Brazil have benefited us. Some investments are flowing out of Brazil and are coming to Mexico. We didn't take into account that some investments in Brazil would come into Mexico.
