(OTC Bulletin Board: SVSR) disclosed that the law firm for Ty Inc., makers of Beanie Babies had sent a "Cease and Desist" letter to the Company, dated March 1, 1999. In that letter, the law firm of Welsh & Katz, Ltd. of Chicago alleged that Silver Star International, Inc. and their Beanie Brigade Line infringed upon Ty's trademarks by using the word Beanie, using a web site of http://www.beaniebrigade.com, and by using colors in Silver Star's logo for the Beanie Brigade.
