Mar. 17 -- Chevron Corp.'s cost-cutting clipped the company's San Ramon administrative hub once again Tuesday.
The San Francisco-based oil giant disclosed plans to move or eliminate about 60 San Ramon jobs in the Chevron Pipe Line Co. The reorganization is part of an overhaul affecting a total of 300 jobs in the company's pipeline division.
Chevron anticipates transferring about 200 employees in San Ramon and four other offices to offices outside downtown Houston. Another 100 workers will lose their jobs. Besides the San Ramon office, four other Chevron facilities in Bakersfield, Salt Lake City, New Orleans ...
