It is curious that there has been so little research on New Zealand's Taiwan relationship. This modest book, an equally modest one by the same author for the NZIIA in 1993, the odd report and student dissertation is a pretty meagre haul for what is certainly one of New Zealand's major relationships and arguably its most intriguing one.
