Eating disorders are rampant and plastic surgery candidates are ever younger. Here, 5 ways to help your children love what nature gave them.
A few months ago, my ebullient daughter Emme, age eight, came home deflated.
"What's up?" I asked, though "What's down?" would have been nearer the mark.
She shrugged.
I hugged.
And I got my answer: A boy in school said she had big ears.
Well, guess what? Emme does have big ears. They run in the family. My older brother Eric was called Dumbo for years--usually by his closest friends.
