ANCHORAGE, Alaska, March 19 /PRNewswire/ -- The Alaska Housing Finance Corporation has sold $30 million in a new domestic commercial paper program. The AHFC Board in January authorized the issuance of up to $150 million in commercial paper, and the first sale took place March 8.
"Officials say the program is unique because it is secured by the corporation's own liquidity rather than a third-party facility," reported The Bond Buyer, a national industry publication.
AHFC has operated a Euro Commercial Paper Program continuously since 1987, when access to the domestic market was unavailable to the Corporation due to its inability to obtain credit ratings ...
