DUNKIRK, N.Y. -- Dunkirk Radiator Corp. and The Utica Companies announced that they have signed a letter of intent to merge operations.
The new entity, which has yet to be named and is in the due diligence process, is expected to create the third-largest manufacturer and distributor of boilers in North America.
"In such a competitive industry, we determined to forge our own opportunities in order to grow our market share and improve our long-term viability," said Thomas Reed, Dunkirk Radiator president.
