Neil Gregor's detailed study of the Daimler-Benz firm in National Socialist (NS) Germany enlarges still further the growing and often distinguished ranks of critical histories of business and industry in the Third Reich. His book complements those of Peter Hayes on I.G. Farben, of John Gillingham on the Ruhr coal industry, and of Wolfgang Mommsen and Manfred Grieger on Volkswagen.
