GAITHERSBURG, Md., March 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Sodexho Marriott Services, Inc. (NYSE: SDH), the nation's largest provider of food and facilities management services to the corporate, education and health care markets, reported pro forma net income of $14.1 million for the 13 weeks ended February 26, 1999, up 88% from $7.5 million for the 13 weeks ended February 27, 1998. Pro forma earnings per share for the 1999 fiscal second quarter were $0.22 per share, up 83% from $0.12 for the year ago quarter on an average of 64.0 million diluted shares.
