BALTIMORE, March 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Legg Mason Wood Walker, Inc. announced today that Douglas B. Benedict has joined the firm's Telecommunication Services and Technology Group in the Investment Banking Department. Mr. Benedict has been an investment banker for over 10 years and comes to Legg Mason from Salomon Smith Barney's Global Telecommunications Group, where he was a Vice President based in New York.
