ST. LOUIS--(BW HealthWire)--March 29, 1999--Sylvan N. Goldman Center, Oklahoma Blood Institute, a not-for-profit blood center based in Oklahoma City, announced today that it will acquire the assets and take over operation of Gateway Community Blood Program (St. Louis, MO) from Haemonetics Corporation effective March 31, 1999. Under a long term supply contract, Gateway will continue to use Haemonetics' apheresis equipment and disposables used in blood donation procedures. The specific terms of the sale were not disclosed.
