The Royal Navy is to be provided with unique "state of the art" Fire Fighting Training Units (FFTU) under a contract signed on Thursday 1 April 99 between the Naval Recruiting and Training Agency (NRTA) and Flagship Training Ltd. The venture will use emerging technology to create the country's most advanced fire fighting training facilities for the Royal Navy, in Portsmouth, Plymouth and Faslane.
