HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 8, 1999--TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company (OSLO:TGS) announced today that it is expanding its non-exclusive 3D seismic data in the eastern and central planning areas of the Gulf of Mexico. The newest survey is in Mississippi Canyon and covers a 3,100 square kilometer area.
Upon completion of this latest survey TGS-NOPEC will have over 12,500 square kilometers of contiguous and state-of-the-art 3D seismic data in Mississippi Canyon and the surrounding areas.
