CULVER CITY, Calif., April 9 /PRNewswire/ -- In the largest-ever award of statutory damages for copyright infringement, a jury in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles awarded Columbia Pictures Television, Inc. $31,680,000 against C. Elvin Feltner, Jr. The jury determined that Feltner willfully infringed Columbia's copyrights when three television stations he controlled broadcast 440 episodes of "Who's The Boss," "Hart To Hart," "T.J. Hooker and "Silver Spoons" over an 19 month period after Columbia terminated the stations' program licenses for nonpayment.
