Apr. 16 -- PPG Industries' glass home Downtown is unofficially for sale, and Pittsburgh's Hillman Co. has expressed an interest in buying the office and retail complex.
Hillman Co. is a secretive investment company headed by Pittsburgh billionaire Henry Hillman. If sold, PPG Place could fetch more than $200 million.
No agreement has been reached with Hillman. If a deal gets done, though, Hillman may involve another local real estate partner in the purchase. Hillman executives could not be reached for comment yesterday.
