Apr. 15 -- Wal-Mart owes $80,000 to a former worker at its Raleigh County store, in what may be the first case in West Virginia alleging same-sex sexual harassment.
Christopher Lack said a male supervisor continuously abused him with sexually charged jokes, comments and gestures. Associate Manager James Bragg then punished Lack with a burdened work schedule when he complained, Lack's federal lawsuit said.
The U.S. District Court civil jury found for Lack on Tuesday, following a one-day trial before Judge Charles H. Haden in Beckley.
