HIBBING, Minn.--Industrial Rubber Products Inc. will add to its rapidly growing portfolio in May, when it opens a 7,800-sq.-ft. manufacturing facility in Casa Grande, Ariz.
The new site will produce rubber linings for pipe, abrasion-resistant materials and other parts, according to Daniel O. Burkes, IRP president and CEO. The firm needs the new plant to better serve its southern Arizona mineral processing industry customers, he said.
IRP plans to set up equipment during the remainder of April and early May. It will use excess machinery from its recently consolidated operations in Utah, Burkes said. The company will hire six workers.
