MILWAUKEE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 23, 1999--
Directors of Badger Meter, Inc. (AMEX:BMI) today elected company president James L. Forbes, 66, to the position of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and executive vice president Robert D. Belan, 58, to the position of President and Chief Operating Officer. The company's chairman for the past 48 years, James O. Wright, was designated Chairman Emeritus.
