DENVER, April 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Ascent Entertainment Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: GOAL) announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement to sell its sports-related businesses, including the Denver Nuggets, Colorado Avalanche and the teams' future home, The Pepsi Center.
Ascent is selling the business to a partnership controlled by William J. and Nancy Walton Laurie of Columbia, Missouri. Charlie Lyons, currently CEO of Ascent Entertainment Group, Inc., will become President and will own an interest in the Partnership.
