Horizon Organic Holding Corporation (NASDAQ National Market: HCOW), the nation's leading producer of organic milk, announced that it has purchased The Organic Cow(TM) brand from the H.P. Hood Company. The Organic Cow is the leading brand of organic dairy products in New England and includes product lines of milk, cream, cottage cheese, sour cream and butter. Products are distributed throughout New England and in other East Coast areas.
